YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/d) at StudySmarter, you will have a direct impact on our product, which is used by millions of students and pupils and has already won the award for the best learning app worldwide.

Together with you, we help everyone achieve their learning goals and make StudySmarter the world’s #1 learning platform!

The following tasks await you:

  • Your main task is the independent advancement of the StudySmarter Frontend (WebApp and MobileApp with Angular)
  • You will implement new features independently and plan improvements with your team
  • You challenge the status quo, evaluate, plan and implement optimizations to the frontend platform
  • The analysis and elimination of user problems is also part of your task spectrum
  • You will collaborate with product managers, product designers, other frontend developers, backend developers as well as QA engineers to make our product the best learning app in the world
  • You are there to support our juniors when they get stuck

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 💼 You bring at least 5+ years of experience in web development and SPAs
  • 💻Excellent hands-on skills in Angular 10+
  • 📈Practical experience with Ionic and RxJS
  • 🚀You have a good sense for user-friendly software, intuitive UX and clean code and know how to put this into action
  • 💙You are passionate about digital product development and want to shape the digital learning landscape of tomorrow with us
  • 💡You know how to prioritize and are able to adapt quickly to new situations and topics
  • 💪You are not afraid to tackle new challenges and like to take on responsibility
  • 🇬🇧Your English skills are professional and business fluent, German skills are not required
